Integrations

Integrations are the channels CronWarden notifies when something happens. You connect the ones your team already uses, decide which fire on a warning versus a critical alert, and attach them to monitors.

Available channels

CronWarden delivers to 16 channels:

  • Chat — Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Mattermost, Rocket.Chat, Zulip, Telegram, Matrix
  • Push — ntfy, Gotify, Pushover
  • On-call — PagerDuty, Opsgenie
  • Generic — webhook (POST to any URL), email

Severity filter

Each integration has a severity filter: warnings, critical, or both. This is what keeps a slow night off your pager. A common setup is:

  • A Slack channel that receives everything, warnings included.
  • PagerDuty (or a phone-noisy channel) that receives critical only.

A late job (if you've opted in to late warnings) then nags Slack, while a genuine outage pages on-call — from the same monitor, no extra wiring.

Attaching integrations to a monitor

A monitor can send to your integrations in one of two ways:

  • All team integrations (the default) — the monitor notifies every integration whose severity filter matches the alert. Set your channels up once and every monitor uses them.
  • Selected integrations — the monitor notifies only the specific integrations you pick. Use this when one job should route somewhere different from the rest.

Missing a channel?

If a channel you need isn't listed, the dashboard has a request an integration board where you can ask for it and upvote others' requests.
